You are required to purchase a marriage licence. The cost of the licence is $100 which is not covered in my fees. We also sell marriage licences.

Further information about the marriage licence is as follows: Getting Married | Manitoba Vital Statistics Agency |   Province of Manitoba (gov.mb.ca). The licence must be purchased at least 24 hrs. before the wedding.

I require the licence and the white self-addressed envelope at the ceremony.

After the ceremony, I will send the signed Marriage Registration to Vital Statistics to officially register the marriage.

Vital Statistics Agency does not automatically issue a Marriage Certificate. You have to apply for your Marriage Certificate.

The online form can be accessed using this link: Application for a MB Marriage Document_2019_06_04_ENG.pub (gov.mb.ca). When you obtain your marriage licence, you will also receive a paper copy application for your Marriage Certificate.
